A visit to the Post Office earlier saw remaining copies of JL sent off to our more remote distribution locations.
A guesthouse in the interior will be receiving some, which is a great spot for catching foreigners visiting from the mainland.
And I finally got into City Hall to deliver to our last main distribution spot that didn’t have any February copies.
It was one of those trips where I jumped on the bus, distributed, and jumped on the bus back.
Getting the job done.
I also read a great blog post today regarding Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and how print headlines should differ from web headlines.
This is something we’ll be implementing in Jeju Life this month as the February issue content goes online:
“Print headlines are often written to be clever or pithy or cute. Headline writing is treated as an art form, where editors work tirelessly to find the most creative headlines. Headline writing on the Web is a science.
Being cute won’t get you anywhere on the Web. Headlines with keywords, people and places matter. Headlines have to have substance on the Web; style isn’t very important.”
