So here I am, sitting down at 9:28 a.m. to start the first post on the new Jeju Life blog.
Distribution continues in the City Hall area which – thankfully – will not involve taking my rather large gray backpack.
The copies will slip nicely into my briefcase for Book Café Zini, The Bagdad Café and El Paso.
Danielle already distributed to LaVie last night.
Of note today, there is a festival taking place between City Hall, Jungang Rotary and Gwandeokjeong. The roads between these places (going down past the KAL hotel) will be closed from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.
According to the blurb I received from the Tourism Department the ‘Tamnaguk Ibchun Gutnori’ celebrates the coming of spring with a number of shaman performances.
It is due to start around 4:30 p.m.
I’ll be there on Jeju Life duty with City Hall. A few other team members too.
I’ll also be using Twitter for the first time as a breaking news service to keep everyone updated. Take a look at http://twitter.com/jejulife.
Wrap up warm and hope to see you later.
